Jim Donoval focuses on introducing BR Wealth Management and its exceptional client services to potential clients and other professionals serving those potential clients. He also helps coordinate the onboarding of new clients and the development of the plans for managing and growing their financial and other assets.
Jim is a graduate of De Paul University in Chicago with a B.S. in Finance and Management, and a graduate of De Paul University College of Law as well. He has spent his career in a variety of legal and financial ventures, initially working as CPA and tax specialist for a large Chicago public accounting firm. For the last thirty years or so, Jim has practiced law in both Illinois and Idaho, including representing clients in matters before the highest courts in both states. Jim has also acted as the CFO or manager of several businesses. Although no longer practicing as a CPA or attorney, Jim has focused much of his practice in estate and financial planning, in business and real estate development, as well as the variety of legal and financial services necessary to serve a wide spectrum of clients.
Jim has devoted a significant amount of time to serving those with developmental and other disabilities, having been the president of a large Chicago area non-profit that provides residential and training services to the disabled. Jim also served as an elected community college trustee for several years.
Jim is a piano player and musician, has written numerous original compositions, and helps with the music programs at his Lutheran church in Meridian. Jim is also a golfer and has traveled extensively in the U.S. and around the world. As an avid reader, Jim will consume an average of between 50 to 100 books annually. He and his wife Sharon (who is a counselor and yoga instructor), live in Eagle with their brittany spaniel, Stanley.
